Laser-cut plates in acrylic and wood, with kerf and edge quality

How it works

1
Open the tool. There is nothing to install, and it keeps working without internet.
2
Pick the plate. Engraving laminate has two layers: the text colour is the core that appears where the tip removes the top layer, so you choose a combination and not a colour. Set the size, the corner radius and the mounting holes here.
3
Type your text, one line per line. Letter height is the height of a capital, as measured on a finished plate, and every line lands on the plate itself so you see exactly where it ends up.
4
Set the laser. Engraving leaves the text on the surface; cutting takes it out, and then the middle of an O or an A falls out as a loose piece. Mind the kerf: the beam burns away a strip, so a hole comes out bigger than drawn and the outside smaller. And never PVC: cutting it releases chlorine gas.
5
Read the check. It measures the thinnest line of your letters at the real size and tells you whether the chosen tool can do it, before you order.
6
The price works itself out while you design. You can change the rates yourself.
7
Download the laser-ready PDF at exact size. Red is cut, blue is engrave: that is how the machine tells them apart. The kerf is compensated on the outline and the holes, so the finished piece measures what you asked for.
8
Pro members unlock the tool once through the shop. After that it works offline too.
